Typical behavior of 2 cockerels raised together?

I’m so glad Dexter gets a home and some girls.
I had 3 NN cockerels and 2 bantam cockerels raised with 2 NN pullets.
One went to freezer camp and I tried to keep the other two and even ordered 12 sexed pullets so they’d have enough girls.
But just like your two boys, they both competed with each other constantly tag teaming the hens.
I couldn’t find a home so I kept the lower ranking cockerel and the other went in the freezer.
Angus has turned out to be great.
I kept my Silkie cockerel and rehomed the Cochin.
Angus lets Silkie crow unless he does it too close to Angus’ girls.
He will also chase Silkie if he tries to breed the LF girls.
He doesn’t attack him though.
I have 6 bantam pullets for Silkie but he mostly ignores them.
He’s obsessed with trying to get the NN pullets.
I wonder if it’s because they’re sexually mature now or because he was raised with them?
I locked Silkie and the 6 bantam pullets in the prefab coop/run and plan to keep them in there for a week.
I’m hoping they’ll bond as a flock and Silkie will see them as his girls.

LOL! Sounds like my daughter’s Bantam Silkie cockerel. He has a tiny Silkie female pullet and a full size Buff Brahma Pullet in with him. Guess who he desires? The Buff Brahma that is having none of his affections..... there is no way short of her complying or him jumping off a ladder that is gonna work for his stumpy little self.

Oh no this guy has tried everything lol.
He tries to sneak up on them when they lay down and they scream for Angus and he kicks Silkie off.
I’m grateful that Angus doesn’t hurt him.
I think it’s a good indication of Angus’ tolerance.
Silkie also waits outside the coop for them to come out after laying an egg.
It’s pretty pathetic.
So now I’m forcing the issue with him since he completely ignores all these cute bantam girls.
If he wants to score he’s going to have to do it with them lol.
