Typical Hatch Rate Under a Broody?

What is a typical hatch rate of fertilized eggs under a broody hen? 50%?

That's usually the rate but it depends if the hen sitting does her job unless you use an incubater then it's at least 50%

Thanks, adpad5. I got a much better hatch rate with a broody. Of the incubated eggs, I got only 1 hatch out of 9. Then with a broody I got 1 out of 4. However of the 9, 6 contained fully formed chicks that didn't hatch. Out of the 4 under the broody, 3 contained chicks that didn't hatch. More recently a friend hatched my hens' eggs under his broody, and he got 5 out of 12 to hatch. One of those cracked and didn't hatch. Three of the eggs that didn't hatch contained fully formed chicks, and 4 of the eggs were rotten.

Ducks are way different I got 6/8 under a broody hen
