I've been noticing feathers were looking ratty, but every time I checked for creepy crawlies, I saw nothing. Well, today i was looking and grabbed my roo Franklin. Sure enough, bugs. I dont want to have to dust 20+ birds so I am gonna try ivermec or something. My main question, besides sevin dust or DE, is there anything that doesn't have a withdrawl time for eating eggs? I will probably do something either topical or oral but wondered is they're is anything with a short or no withdrawl time. Is there anything I can put in the water to make this easier?

I recommend dusting your 20 chickens, I dusted my 18!! Yes, ivermectin pour on will take care of them. Ivermectin will also kill whatever worms they have except tapeworms and you dont want to use ivermectin to do this. The reason is the dead worms in their body will overload their system causing toxicity and could kill your chickens. Dusting; there's no waiting time for egg consumption. All wormers have a least a 2 week wait period. If you were to worm, use wazine17 first and then use ivermectin pour on.Then you'd be looking at a total of 1 month withdrawal time.
