Ugh duckling troubles ~duckling wont shut up~ help?

Well I have her in her brooder but she won't be quiet and she throws herself against the wall so then I pick her up to try and calm her and she won't quiet down either is there anything I can do or is this just normal?

She is lonely. They will also be very noisy when cold, hungry or thirsty. Most likely in your case she is lonely since she is the only one. She wants some company. Try putting a mirror or soft toy in the brooder with her.

Great news I have another one hatching tomorrow I can hear it peeping thro the shell so I think she'll be fine in a couple of days

I have the same problem and since i put a small stuffed toy in she's been quieter. My other ones hatch on Monday.
