Ok so I had people over and I didnt want to be rude by telling them they werent allowed to look in my incubator. So they go in and this annoying 13 year old kid walks up to the incubator grabs it and screams "ITS CHICKENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" thanks God he didnt move it but he screamed so loud it hurt my ears I cant imagine the babies in the eggs!! Did he just kill my chance of hatching!!

calm down!! No...he didn't kill the eggs by screaming. lol think about the roosters crowing, and chicken egg songs going on around the brooded eggs. Plus...I have 2 kids and I'm loud anway. I'm incubating in my room and we're always playing in there and screaming and tickling....the egss are fine.

I'd be more concerned with him "grabbing" then loud noises. Personally in the future I would just "be rude" and not allow any guest to view the eggs so you don't have to worry in the future.

I'm sure you will still have some of them hatch. Keep us updated on how they are developing

I had my incubator and brooder in the next room from where my BF has band practice. Theyre totally fine. If i have to tolerate band practice a few hours a week then they have to also. new rule.
