Well, to be fair, I made it just the right size... for the three chickens I was planning on having. That became four, as I got one more girl out of my straight runs than expected. Its still a perfect size for four... but I find myself really wanting a Houdan. And also a seabright. And a Black Copper Maran. And a buff polish.
Its probably a good thing my coop is too small; the flock expansion would be exponential if I had more space!
