I just got a call from the head campaign manager of one of the congressman-to-be's that I've been campaigning for to go to a dinner tonight in Nachitoches which is about an hour away.

AND MOM DOESN'T WANNA MAKE THE DRIVE.

Personal invite. And I CAN'T GO!!!

i cannot drive for medical reasons. (seizures) i know the pain. it makes me crazy and really makes our schedule nuts.


maybe you could get a ride with someone else?

That's the thing. I was the only one from this area that was invited, no one else is going and everyone else can't go for whatever reason.

now go rub your mom's back or something and try to sweet talk her and say it's an oportunity of a lifetime.

You know, if I were your mom, I wouldn't want to go either. You'd be sitting somewhere at some fancy dinner, and what would she be doing? Sitting in the car, alone, waiting? Hm...
