I just treated my girls with Gallimycin for respiratory concerns, and this week found roundworms in one of the nest boxes. I am sick of tthrowing away eggs!
I have Wazine on hand, but will that work for roundworms? Also, is there a way to give Wazine by mouth instead of in the water, to make SURE, they are getting it? Or is there a better wormer so I can eat the eggs sooner?

thanks! Sasha

Wazine is only to be used in the water 1 ounce per gallon of water for 1 day only. It will get only the round worms. Fenbazole (SafeGuard Liquid Goat Wormer) or Valbazen will get more types of chicken worms. Most wormers including the ones above have a 2 week egg withdrawal. I think Gallimycin only has a 1 day egg withdrawal time. Here is a link for a wormer added to the feed which has no egg withdrawal time, but I haven't used it:

Thank you. Can you estimate how much an ounce is in cup or teaspoon terms? Sorry, conversions are not my best subject!
