Ugly Babies?

I just have a quick question....is it normal for White Leghorn babies to be ugly as sin when they're getting their feathers? I've brooded Dominiques, Barred Rocks, RIR's, NH Reds, Australorps and none of them were ugly during this stage. I just want to make sure that this is normal.....THANX!

I don't have any white leghorns, but my Delawares were pretty ugly. lol

You might wanna post some pictures, I just recently raised some Leghorns and never thought they were ugly at all, even in their ugly stage

I think they all go through an "ugly duckling" stage. Maybe just more noticeable on a white chick. My Australorps definitely had a stage of so ugly they were cute.

Maybe they are going through the puberty stage. We humans do growing up. But I have never seen an ugly chick/chicken. They are all unique and personable in their own way.
