Guineafowl. I plan to get some for ticks and I hear they lay eggs, too, and if they misbehave you can eat them.

They have little vulture heads.

Ugly little suckers, but just about anything will grow on ya and then they won't seem so ugly. You just have to get over the cute factor if you want to raise your own meat. Come to think of it, I think there is an article about getting over the cute factor in the current issue of that magazine that TSC sells at the counter next to Grit; Countryside, I think it's called. I'm not sure where I left my issue. I think my hubby snagged it.

We raise meat rabbits and you definitely have to get past the cute factor to eat a rabbit, especially when ours aren't mean at all.
 
This cream colored lamb has a lot of cuteness factor. I don't know if I can do it. But he's a wether and that's what we bought him for.
