Uh, Cynthia? - photo added

I'm wondering if it's just a really definite cockerel, then, very silvery. Cant wait to see that baby. I know Suede did get into Hawkeye's coop briefly when they had a fight, but that was only 2 weeks ago, so he didn't get personal with Lexie before I shipped your eggs.

Well, now that he's fully fluffed he looks more silver. He has a bluish purple holographic sheen to him that the camera isn't picking up and he's really shiney.

Do you think he's a cockrel and the rest are pullets? That would be to good to be true.

Here are the others, you can see his butt sticking out on the far left.

I guess I'm not the only one that happens to. I ordered 12 Black Jersey Giant eggs from Ideal. 5 eggs hatched, and one turned out to be a Red Jungle Fowl! Whoops!!

She is a nice little pullet though.

I think your little blue baby is adorable!!

Wow, is that boy silver! I can't think of any possible way Suede could have gotten to Lexie, so that must just be the most obvious BR cockerel in history, LOL. That doesn't mean he's the only one, but he's certainly the most obvious one. I think I see at least one more, but time will tell. Cool!!

Whatever he is, he's got a lot of spunk. He's a hoot to watch. Well, they all are. I did just notice that his legs are a perfect clear shade of orange and all the others have some mottled spots. Hmmm...

From my limited knowledge of sexing chicks, I seem to remember that BR boys have slate legs, while the BR ladies have the black wash down the front. I don't know if this is accurite (sp) or not though....
