Omran, I have two hatchery Buff Orps, Ginger and Sunny. Ginger has never gone broody like Sunny. I have one breeder Buff Orp that I believe has broodiness in her genes, but she just started laying. The hatcheries are probably breeding for less broodiness and more egg production, even in breeds known to go broody.
