We decided to start with chickens this spring and summer. I was given 5 Bantams. Then a week later I picked up 12 pullets from a local hatchery. One month later we picked up 100 chicks for meat birds. And after DS said he wanted to know how the chickens get out of the eggs. I have 12 assorted eggs in an incubator. Hows that for chicken math???LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!!!!!

True LOL!! Found Chick chicks baby's on the 9th... Join BYC on the 10th. had my coop together around the 13th. lol. and all that time been Planning in my head Hatching chicks!. and where we could put more homemade coops, told hubby.. if we clear out the rest of our property I can put the coops where i was planning to put the veggie garden LOL
