Seeing some curly tail feathers on this 7 weeks old Easter Egger I was sure was a pullet...

Anyone care to weigh in?

I can't tell but I have gotten chicks and didn't know one was a rooster until it first crowed. Watch for it trying to crow and making noises as it gets a bit older, they also start pushing the hens around... I don't know if feathers matter.

Pullet!
Feathers don't mean anything until around 12 weeks, when male specific feathering comes in...
