I have learned the hard way that if you get 6 eggs off ebay, expect 1 or 2 to actually hatch! 3 if you are super lucky.

In one of my hatches this year, I got 3 out of 12 eggs. And those were broody hatched.

Get 6!!

I get all my eggs on ebay
My incubator hatch: 6 eggs. All fertile. 3 chicks
My broody hatch: 6 eggs. 4 fertile. 3 chicks
I have the 3 chick curse!

Try hatching 2 eggs this time. Knowing your luck, one of the eggs will probably be a double yolker and hatch 2 chicks.

My incubator full of eggs goes into lockdown tommorow.

By the way, if anyone wants any chicks or anything let me know because I will be selling half of them.

Yes but I always get 2 roosters... Kiwi and pickles.. Clover and (i think) Darwin

Yeh it's going great!!
Lots of the chicks have hatched but there's still more coming out.

Leaving on the 28th... Yeah I'm having a great time but I can't wait to see my flock again, especially Kiwi.
I'll be hatching some bantams later this year which I'm excited to do
