You no more chickens then

Yes I have more now!! 40 at the moment. I lost Amy and Penny to a fox attack along with 4 others that I had got.
I got into the polish and things got out of hand when I started incubating. Have been selling chicks this year and have sold all apart form these that I have now.
23 are for sale right now. I have 21 polish and 2 polish x Amber for sale at the moment.

I have 12 adult polish and an Amber hen. One of my polish hens went broody and hatched 4 chicks just over a couple of weeks ago.

Hello from near Reading UK. Just joined BYC - been very busy as new to keeping hens - I have 7 ex battery hens who arrived on July 5. I have had lots of issues to deal with but found most of my questions or concerns covered on the site. The hens are amazing and look twice as big as when they first arrived and they love free ranging. The cats and the dog are good with them altho my young cat would love to play with one of them!

Hi there uK peeps, we seem to be minority here! Everyone's set up looks/sounds super. Have attached a pic of some of mine. On look out for good Orpington's, Speckled Sussex & Swedish Flower hens if anyone can point me in the right direction for UK suppliers. Glad this thread is here...

Your birds are beautiful Yorkshire!
I was a UK peep but moved across the pond to US at the end of March this year.

This is our set up still bits to do, we have a mixed variety in ours.
