Based in the garden of England (Kent), weather is drab and windy need the sunshine so that I can finish cementing chicken run (I WILL stop the foxes)

crazy weather on south coast, i have spent all year chucking wood shavings in with my birds to stop them walking in 3 inches of mud!!! good job i work at a timber merchants

Good idea with the wood shavings! Think I've read somewhere on here that chucking yr grass clippings on the floor helps too....and the chicks love kicking it round looking for any bugs etc
