Ulcerative Enteritis

Do any of the coturnix quail brreders here treat the birds continuously just to prevent this? Does it affect the meat and / or eggs? I'm new to them and find this interesting subject. i however do not bring birds in just the eggs I hatch.

Ok, after 4 days on antibiotics, one more hen has died. Oddly, it's only my pharaohs dying, not my A&Ms who are in the same cage. I started with 12 birds and am now down to 8. It's only my hens dying and not any of the 4 roos. I just don't know. I think it's time to cull and begin again.
