Ultrasonic animal deterent- will it work with chickens?

I have seen ultrasonic animal deterrents advertised to keep critters out of gardens and such. Do Chickens hear those frequencies? Has anybody ever tried one of these? I am wondering if this could help my gardens out

All of the tests I have heard about show the ultrasonic repellers do not work at all. They are likely to be just as (in)effective on chickens.

Ditto, I don't know about the tests, but they certainly do not seem to do anything in real life situations.

Rats Bats you name it, they all seem to laugh at the devices.​
