Um....green poop.....brown poop.......smells terrible.Is stress the cause? HELP!!!!!!!

I woke up at 8:00 this morning and got back outside right away and it appears she had died an hour or so before. :( I checked her whole body for lumps or anything I didn't feel anything abnormal I buried her and gave her a nice grave amongst her other buff orpington buddies.I know I should have given her an autopsy but there is no way on Earth my mom would be ok with that she doesn't like me touching them at all once they die.Everyone else are following the normal schedule and are out free ranging and seem very content no problems of any sort. And the new rooster I had gotten was quarantined for about a week and a half he had a tiny bit of poultry lice and I dusted him several times and now he has been adjusting but is very healthy so I think this would have happened with or without him.I will watch everyone very closely and if anything arises you will be the first to be notified thank you for the help and wish me luck.

You tried your best, she is so lucky to have a wonderful owner such as you, not all hens can get treatment. Sorry for your loss once again.

Thanks guys.I wish I knew too.I honestly think all the buff orpington hens I got had really bad genetics.I got all of them from the same place(our feed-store but they were all bought from one hatchery which I don't know the name of sadly). And they all were very weak and had terrible immune systems and so instead of overcoming the smaller diseases they would just die.Sunshine was my last BO so I'm hoping she just died from her weak immune system and that no one else will be affected and as far as I can tell no one had any illnesses so that I am glad for.

Thats too bad. I had a BO hen once that came from braggs mountain buff. She was a poor layer a HORRIBLE mother, and when we finally sent her to freezer camp, she only weighed around 3 lbs or so, and orpingtons are supposed to be big birds.

That's to bad mymilliefleur but I do understand that because mine weighed only about 3-4 lbs and are like you said weigh quite a bit like 8-9 lbs for hens :/ they never went broody laid ok I guess and weren't really worth eating.

Kathy: I wormed them last month and it did absolutely nothing as far as I could see hopefully it did do some internal damage to the worms but I don't think they need to be wormed again.I have been giving my whole flock ACV & vitamins/electrolytes since her death though everyone is totally content and healthy but thank you for the idea :) I do appreciate any ideas though but I think she just was an easy kill for any diseases that threatened the flock.
