Whatever you do, don't use anything like salt or deicer; it will freeze their feet.I hadn’t thought about an 18-25” snow storm all at once... i dont want my ducks to get hurt, i am not sure they are bright enough to stay inside. I figure after it settles some they can stay on top ok, but currently it’s pretty fluffy. Any advice? storm

Poor things are molting and look pretty ragged. I am a little worried about them but it’s slightly warmer for the rest of the week.Poor dear things! Mine are just about as enthusiastic about the maybe 2 inches we got in northern VT. I’m not sure if I’m disappointed or relieved that the storm missed us. But there’s plenty of time for another storm to hit us...
Also, I see that your Rouens make nice “duck boats” also. That’s what I call it when they tuck their feet under their wings. Daphne has the nickname of “Duck Boat Daphne” in cold weather as she can’t stand the feeling of snowy feet!
