Umbilical cord around ducklings ankles?

Ok so this is the first time I ha e hatched ducklings but I have had ducks before. I have 3 beautiful runner ducklings in a brooder and one in the incubator. There is a rope it looks like around its feet but I don't no if it is connected at all. It is also scared of me! But that one is the least of my worries. Is that the umbilical cord wrapped around its ankles? If so... What do I do? It hatched either late last night or very very early this morning. It's starting to get fluffy but the rope thing is there... HELP!

How is the duckling? If It is still attached to your little one, is it connected to the egg too? If not, it would be safe to cut the chord off.
