I seriously think about it every morning that I cook up a batch of scratch for the hens. There's a batch cooling now. It smells SOOO good when it cooks.

However, I've seen the occasional petrified grasshopper in it. I know, free protein, yet I am repelled.

If it was clean, I'd sure enough eat a bowl of it for breakfast. It smells absolutely delicious.
