Ummm, Imagining "IT"?????

Clowns already freaked me out... It's like they are hiding something under that paint and fake smile. THEN I saw (and started to read but didn't have the nerve) IT... ugh. The teeth freak me out. Yet I can watch gore no problem!

What's so scary about "IT"? Y'all are all making me want to read it now!

Don't tell him I said so...

.. my hubby used to have nightmares because of the GL Perry Variety store commercials. They had this creepy clown on them! And he'll tell you he's not afraid of spiders... but I've seen him jump more than once!

Clowns creep me out *shudders* and I haven't ever seen all of IT, though I'm a big Stephen King fan

I never understood the whole, Have a clown at a birthday party thing. Nothing against those who used to be/are clowns; my friends tried to get me to join this Clown Troop thing, the school was doing....

* There's also some kind of mark around the "WE" in the "In God We Trust" motto. Using the same low power mag. hold it about half-inch from the bill and pull the mag. up slow and you can start to make out a bunch of concentric rings around the word "WE". Looks like there may be faint initials in the middle, too.

My sister gave me a copy of the book "IT" to read. I was always a voracious reader and back then I usually would find some quiet time and read a book from cover to cover. I read the first chapter...put the book down and walked away from "IT". I was really freaked out. About a week went by and I had to pick "IT" up again to find out what was going to happen. I read a couple more chapters and put "IT" down and walked away again. "IT" took me about a month and a half to read.

Stephen King really took every fear that a child has and wrapped it up into one book. I didn't see the movie until I was grown. I really didn't like it because it didn't have the level of detail that the book had. Besides, I expect Tim Reid to only be in sitcoms, not in movies.

Me too!! Worse thing is that when I watched it, there was a giant water culvert in a field behind my bedroom. For those of you that have seen/read IT, you will know what that probably did for my sleeping patterns!

IT was not that bad. I love Stephen King and his novels, none have ever really bothered me that bad. I'm a horror junkie, so that may be the reason. I want a new five dollar bill to study now, though.

I'll gladly take any unwanted fivers, lol.

I have never seen the movie all the way through. I don't like clowns, and was never able to sit through it, despite my love for Tim Curry, who did a marvelous acting job. too good, in fact. After reading the book, I tried watching the movie again, but it was just too lame. Compared to the book, the movie was like a Disney movie. The book was just great. I'm not normally into scary stuff, but I do love Stephen King. I just make it a point to read the books before seeing the movies, so I don't get too scared.
