hes BIGGER than the others that are his age, they were the same size when I bought them on 3/26/10. they are 3 weeks old today

thats a boy. By 3wks age he's probably starting to sproyt hackle feathers on the back of his neck that the others dont have.
 
Very likely a roo, but what breed? Is that a meat bird? They grow really fast.
 
If that was any other breed id say YES..but thats a cornish X...and i have no experience with them ....
 
My Cornish X pullets looked JUST like him at that age. They Grow SOOOOO fast. But the absence of his tail really feathering might mean roo.
 
HAHA!! Yea, the store had Cornish X but my receipt sooo didnt say that!! LOL THANK YOU EVERYONE!! Any one in MO & want him? I can have roosters in my city....
 
If you want to raise your own meat, just process him yourself, he'll be ready in a few weeks. He'll most likely kick the bucket before he starts crowing. Those poor things aren't meant to hang around too long.
