Hello, I'm just learning about this wonderful website and joined just a couple of days ago. As I was scouting out the forums, I was reading about a poor hen that was attacked by a hawk. Well, someone had mentioned a medicine to give them orally. For the life of me, I can't find that item listed now and I really wanted to have it on hand... the person suggesting the medicine said not to give it to the chicken more that 5 days in a row.

I have been looking and looking and even did some searches on line to see if I could recognize it, but don't see it. (I originally found it doing a quick search).

I'm very grateful for any help on this. Thank you!!

Could it have been this thread?

...I would add extra nutrition to her feed to give her a boost. Add Poultry Nutri-Drench per the label instructions for 3-5 days. Give her a small amount of tuna, sardines or other protein source each day....

That worked! I found it;
Someone had posted this: Poultry Nutri Drench orally twice a day for no more than 5 days.
Hopefully she will recover.
Thank you for that suggestion!!:thumbsup
Nutridrench is a vitamin supplement, not a medication. It's to help boost energy, & correct a vitamin deficiency.

Glad you found it.
Poultry Nutri-Drench (PND) can be found in feed stores like Tractor Supply or online.
It's a vitamin supplement with a quick uptake and is great to use during times of stress. Keeping something like this on hand is always a good idea.
