Our ducks are hatching! Yay! We are so excited to introduce these precious babies to the world but have a couple worries.. we’re on day 26 going onto 27. 4 of our 8 eggs have pipped but this one is especially pipped. It’s going to hatch soon, his little beak is sticking out half way and he’s chirping a lot. But I have a concern, he opens his mouth sometimes and it looks a little like a yawn. I’ve heard that’s a sign of an unabsorbed yolk sac.. what do you say?

I would say leave it and let it hatch on its time. It may stay like that till day 28 and fully absorb the yolk.
