Good afternoon all!
I have a ~2week old pullet that has this hard blob stuck to her bottom. At first, I thought maybe pasty butt (I’m a newb), but her vent is clean. A friend mentioned the yolk sack may not have absorbed all the way. Should I be doing anything with it? I tried to remove it when I thought it was poo but don’t want to hurt her or do something that would be worse so I left it alone. She’s eating and drinking normally and active like the others though does hang out solo at times. The others don’t seem to mess with it either. Thoughts?! Any help is much appreciated!
