Unabsorbed yolk sack

Hi guys. I had to assist hatch 2 chicks today as it had been 48 hours since they first pipped and they both shrink wrapped. They seem to have a fair bit of a yolk left and they are both alive and breathing just not moving much. Anything I can do to help them or do I just leave them to rest?

Hi. Hatching is a very hard process that uses a lot of energy so I would just let them rest for a while! Good luck

They've been laying in the same spot for about 2-3 hours. But then again I'm not sure how long they were trying to break out

What do I do about the unabsorbed yolk?

I dont know about the yolk sac... are they chirping or breathing that you can see?

Yes their breathing but not moving too much

As long as their breathing i would leave them in there and they should get up soon
