Unbelieveably, chicks are hatching! Olive Eggers!

I hope that's what they'll be, anyway--that was the idea!

We ran our Easter Egger girls with a Buff Orp and a Marans fella, and hatched out a small handful of what we hope will be "olive eggers." This is actually the end of Day 24 (and I kept the temps in the still-air LG at 102 or better the whole time), so in hindsight I'm really glad I didn't toss all the eggs yesterday, like I intended to!

Yeah, I have some BC Marans cockerels running around, so they could end up mixed with that, but oh well!
