I will probably only hatch chickens once or twice so I don't want to spend a fortune. And im not really into making things. So I want to buy one.

ive found one on ebay, it has an automatic turner, and digital display etc. But I can't see a brand listed. Does that matter? Obviously it needs to be reliable.

Post some pics here so we can have a look and see if anyone can identify it? I personally wouldn't buy a unknown brand incubator or any electrical appliance for that matter. You don't know what kind of quality you'll get, fire hazards are a possibility, reliability? Who knows? In your situation I'd rather look for a secondhand, almost new incubator, but a known brand, like Brinsea, rcom, or one of the other popular ones, hatch your eggs and then resell it. You may not get all your money back, but you won't have to worry about reliability.

I see you're in the UK, I'll PM you a link to a company in Ireland that I bought an incubator from (they ship worldwide). They have a huge range and their prices are very good.
