A walk-in structure is best if at all possible. At this time of year, garden sheds might be discounted at the big box stores, and they do work well, with added ventilation and hardware cloth covered window openings. You will want larger than you think!!!
At least four sq. ft. of floor space for each bird, and more is better.

Can I ask your opinion on the Keter plastic shed in my comment above? I really do struggle with construction, so these resin Lego type sheds are all I can handle. I can add more ventilation near the roof? It's also $300 less than what I paid for the smaller coop in the previous comment (I ordered it to ship to tractor supply company but it hasn't arrived yet... I'm thinking they'll let me return it once it arrives if I explain my inexpertise in chicken keeping...)
