In a dark forest in north America lived four packs of wolves. The land was perfect and plentiful.
To the north lay rolling mountains dotted with rocky cliffs and waterfalls. Huge pines covered the hills in dappled shadows and snow stayed shimmering upon the higher cliffs. This domain was the largest and belonged to the wolves known as Pine Pack.
To the south lay the meadows. Huge grassy plains, that danced with golden wheat and were spotted with soft patches of green sweet grass. There was a bold river that flowed out of the hills, providing bountiful fish. There were no trees just mostly box shrubs and other small bushes. This sometimes proved hard in bad weather to find shelter. These large open plains belonged to the wolves known as Sky Pack.
To the east, darkness stretches on forever. The highest cliff of the north towers over this tiny valley. It is dry and rocky and houses lots of caves. It is a hard place to live, with no source of its own water, other than what the rocks collect in the rain. It also doesn't offer much prey, and this pack is on constant edge as it must venture into other territory to get meals. This small land belongs to wolves known as Shade pack.
And to the west huge trees towering almost to the sky. This lush forest of oak, redwoods and pines is dark, shady and cool. Deep in its shadows is a small lake. The huge trees offer plenty of protection especially if you find a hollow one. There is plenty of prey and safety for the wolves known as Lake pack.
A little bit about each pack:
§ Pine Pack §
They are agile wolves, and fast. They are thinkers and don't normally get involved in fights between other packs unless in direct threat.
¤ Sky Pack¤
They are wary, living in the open they are cautious and watchful. They are always at odds with Shade pack.
ΩShade PackΩ
They are pushy and mean, but not evil. They have hard lives, and little food. They are always intruding in others territory but are smart about it, though they always seem to pick fights with sky pack.
ฯ Lake Pack ฯ
They are reclusive, rarely leaving the forest. Most other wolves don't know anyone from this pack. And why would they leave, they have everything except more.....
So in this beautiful landscape these four packs live in almost harmony....or at least it seems that way....
What is Lake pack plotting deep in the confines of those trees.....
Will Shade pack survive much longer without more food available....
And how will the other packs deal with storm that is looming......
