Zero blinked in surprise as she heard Bracken's voice. Who is that? she thought again. Is it a loner, or... a wolf from another pack? Zero hoped dearly that, in a worst case scenario, Mirage was seeing a wolf outside of Mountainpack, that it was a loner. Generally, while taking a loner as a mate was heavily frowned upon, it wasn't explicitly forbidden. It was, however, forbidden to take a mate from another pack, in the case of a battle between the two packs.

Is... that the father of Spark? Zero pondered as her blue eyes fell upon Bracken's form at last.

( If that can start a fight, I can make on TundraPack character and one MountainPack character that a re mates... And someone could follow them to the border and a fight will start or something like that )

"Bracken…" sighed Mirage, "What am I going to tell Spark?"

Bracken was about to reply when he scented Zero. He whirled around to face her, snarling.

Zero pinned her ears back against her skull. So he IS hostile. She curled her lip back and showed sharp white fangs. A growl rumbled in her throat, and the hair along her spine began to bristle.

Mirage's eyes widened, "NO!" She leapt in between the two.

The tip of Zero's tail was twitching in a sign of annoyance. "This is the loner land!" she snarled at Bracken. "I have just as much right to be here as you, coward."
