A muscular he-wolf lurked among the trees not so far away, his fur, the color of coffee beans, helping him to blend in with his surroundings well. Stalking a vole was where all of his attention lie; he either didn't smell the other wolf, or just didn't care.
His jaws came down to the pine-needle covered ground, wrapping around the spine of an unsuspecting creature who squealed and squirmed until its life was no more.
Daichi let go of the deer and his head popped up to see who said that. He looked around and saw a young female wolf. "Uh, no, I'm fine I think. Thank you though." He said unsteadily.
Aelis's head whipped toward the strange wolf when she heard the sound of prey. She slunk a little closer but did her best to stay hidden, pondering whether or not it would be wise to introduce herself or even try to steal the kill. Maybe he'll bury some, and then I can snatch it. She licked her lips at the thought.A muscular he-wolf lurked among the trees not so far away, his fur, the color of coffee beans, helping him to blend in with his surroundings well. The first scent of the wolf hit Mystery with a bang; he had been so engrossed in catching his prey that the scent had just flown past his nostrils. He looked around warily, the limp mouse clenched between his teeth.
( My gawsh, when I call my parents and they don't answer me, it's totally fine; when my parents call me and I don't answer, it's like World War III. )

"Who's there?!" Mystery yelped, backing up, himself, but instead of falling, staying on solid ground.
Aelis started to walk backwards without saying anything. Unfortunately, this made even more noise when she tripped again. Sure that he knew where she was, Aelis turned around to flee."Who's there?!" Mystery yelped, backing up, himself, but instead of falling, staying on solid ground.

( She's sort of like my sister. Step, step, fall. Step, step, fall. Repeat until reaching cookie jar. )
Mystery bolted through the trees that obscured his sight of the retreating wolf, the needles of it rustling and throwing a fit in his wake. "Wait!" he yelled, and like the true gentleman he was, added; "I won't hurt you!", although he was almost sure that statement wouldn't matter. He remembered his first days as a loner, and not to fondly, either.
