Echo stalked into the alpha den when Katar wasn't in sight. She had sent two wolves to make sure her deranged sister got off the territory before the blizzard came through, but that offered very little comfort. She knew that this wouldn't be the last of Katar.
"Hades?" Echo called.
"Senkah asked me to think on it, and talk about it with you," she said. "I'm thinking about Sprucepack. They wander all over the place, so it shouldn't matter much to them, anyway."

Hades raised his head. "Echo?" He had been sleeping much more often, as he hadn't been feeling well as of late. Starling nodded again, yet there was something else to it than simple agreement, but he hid it well. "When?"

"Katar's gone," Echo growled, sitting down in her nest of tender moss and pheasant feathers. "The stupid wolf attacked Luna."
"I don't know. Senkah's going to talk to Aki about it."

"Your sister?" Hades blinked in confusion.
"Okay," Starling said, nodding. "I don't know about you... but I'm ready to hit the hay."
