Juniper tried to say something to him, but she got a lungful of water. She spluttered and choked, and desperately pawed out to try and catch onto his back, but a wave suddenly crashed into her and she was sent tumbling under the water. The course of the river was getting rougher and rougher... they were approaching a waterfall!

Daichi noticed the waterfall and knew he had to work fast. He dove under water and under Juniper, trying to get her onto his back.
