Faedon stared after Frozen as he left. "...I don't know what that was about," she muttered to herself. She glanced down at the rabbit, but wasn't sure what she should do with it. She heaved a sigh of exasperation. "Let's just go hunting, Starling." She began to began to pick her way down the slope of the mountain, leaving the rabbit behind for the vultures.

Starling nodded and began to follow her. Leaning close so nobody else could hear, he whispered, "If he tries to steal you or whatever, I'll knock his lights out."

Frozen watched Faedon and sighed unhappily. He was determined to make her like him. Or at least make someone else like him. Picking up the rabbit she left behind, he tried to find someone who would accept the gift.
