A mischievous glint sparked in River's eyes as she looked at Frozen, "Race you to the top!" She darted up the slope of a large hill.

Frozen darted after her, trying to catch up.

River sped across the turf, lightning fast, "Come on slowpoke!"

Frozen jumped to the top of the hill, then just for fun slid down it in the leaves and moss.

River tackled him; and they tumbled down the hill.

Frozen laughed, then began rolling in the leaves full of splendor.

And Horizon's Sunset, who was always up to no good, was spying on them behind a rock.

River growled playfully, excited. She hadn't done this since she was a pup.

Frozen stopped for a second, sniffing around and digging his snoot into the leaves. Then he jumped up and began digging.
