Hello Everyone. Just back from Birmingham again. So much to sort out.

Kats, you,ve put bow ties , does this mean the (mini) bow ties in the quilters cache website list, rather than the ordinary bow tie one. I like the mini bow ties and would be happy to do that. What do you think?

It isn't an expensive one but this is it

I got a serger years ago when they first came out spent an obsene (for that time) amount of money and really didn't like it much.

OH WOW! Look at all those stitches!!

Looks like a very nice one! Have fun!

I saw the minis you are talking about and I liked them but the mini's weren't used during the time frame of our quilt so I have to Vito the mini's sorry

If there is still space I would LOVE to join in again!!!
I have to look back and see what's left ;)

ETA: crossroads would be perfect for me!!! It fits my life ♡♡

Kassaundra~have you tried your new machine? I looked it up and it is awesome. Let me know how you like it.

I tried it for a few minutes, nothing fancy just some straight stitching some sprouting bags I needed to make and then a quick start on the blocks. So far so good. Found some things I like better then my old machine, but some I don't like as well too. The automatic threader on my old machine was much easier, this one is real touchy if you don't hold it just so it doesn't work. It also does not have auto thread cutter like my older one did, I had gotten really used to using it. I will do some sewing tomorrow when I get home from work, but likely just straight again working on the block to make sure I can do it in time.

I wish I could design my own machine! Mine has a bobbin winder I don't have to take the bobbin out. Just pull the plate out half way and it rewinds right there. No rethreading, taking thread out. I just is so easy. I don't think they make one like that anymore. That is what I like best about my old machine. It only has 15 stitches, which isn't bad but I would like to have more options.

That would be cool, both the bobbin winder and designing your own machine.

I like having the many stitches to chose from, but I'd rather have few stitches sewn well then many sewn crappy.
