Fenrosie, (I like saying your name ), I like the green in it. Green and purple are two of my fav colors. Especially the deep violets and muted greens. The creamy yellows are in my favs too. My kitchen is creamy yellow. I'm excited about this quilt! So many possibilities

@fenrosie very pretty they would even go with coldup norths blocks, after you cut them you can place them together how ever you like.

both of you ladies looks like you used a cream for the middle block instead of yellow, is that correct? or is the PC playing color tricks?

the greens tone down the purple and you don't have such a color shock, making it a smooth ripple in the pond instead of class 3 rapids, but rapids are good as long as you hold on for dear life.

I ordered some fabrics but they have not arrived yet so we will see how the colors are in real life

Mine haven't arrived yet either. I will do my best to place the ones that I know have green in them in those positions, how's that?

I like the cream/creamy yellow. I have looked and looked but couldn't find a yellow that didn't scream at me. I'll check the stores around here too but that cream is real nice to my eyes.

fenrosie I like the greens added in, makes the eye flow better like spotting bunches of violets hidden in the grass.

It is a very pale yellow, can't remember the make but know it is called banana cream !

My inner block is actually a pale yellow on white; so it blends more to the cream (hard to see on the screen). I am having a hard time finding a pale yellow, lots of brights. Here is the inner block fabric at a very close up (design is much smaller than in picture).
