I have some 6wk old chicks I moved outside and after hold the BO she feels underweight and skinny! I am worried b/c the chicks I have inside I am treating for coccidia. Could the ones outside have it also? Would that make them loose weight like that? I would hate to treat them unnecessarily for it but I also don't want them to get sick and die, since they are outside on a dirt floor I can't tell from their poop.

no one?

Worms and cocci protozoa can cause weight loss, but usually coccidosis comes with listlessness first. If your inside ones got it, it came from outside as cocci oocysts survive in soil.
