Hi all,
Long term lurker and thanks all for the advice so far. So, we have four four week old abacots. The smallest one has just started quacking. Over the last couple of days it has gone from "Which one did that?!" occasional quacks to lots of quacking from her.
Last night she was very vocal in the evening - not in a distressed way, but she seemed like she was practising and quite enjoying her new voice.
. Yesterday evening she seemed quite tired and the same this morning. The other guys have been out, had their morning dip and clean but she stood on the sidelines. Her eyes keep drifting shut. She doesn't look outwardly ill - just unenthusiastic.
She is drinking ok, devoured some mealworms and is now cuddled up with the flock.
Is it possible that she has just kept herself awake and is tired out?! Or should I be keeping an eye out for something else. Current thought is "observe for 24 hours" (but that comes from being married to a doctor
)

. Likely a digestive issue. She's in the vets for 48 hours whilst we decide next steps.
