My friend’s rabbit just had kits. It was completely unexpected and they didn’t know the other rabbit was a boy.

Please help! What do we do?? I have no experience with kits.

Hi! The only thing that could be the issue is the father, he could hurt the babies. Can he be seperated? Keep an eye on mama to make sure she's feeding. I would get formula in case she doesn't.
Hi! Thank you so much for the response. My rabbit was the one who has babies, and we have already separated the father. They are outdoor rabbits and it is quite cold right now here in Maine, they don’t have a heated hutch. Do we need to move them into the hOuse? Or will they be ok?

Not always. I have had bucks adopt babies- but this is correct, he can re breed the doe as soon as she's kindled.

Can you send a picture of the nest? What breed? How many kits?
