Unexpectedly own a DUCK (Khaki Campbell)....advice on ducks?

This advice is great! We have our duck's water in an ice cube bin right now (about 6-8" deep) and we're working on wading water for her. She seems happy with her water dish. We're feeding her chicken feed right now; but, it is unmedicated. Would I be able to pick up niacin at the farm store? She seems to be acclimating well and I think she and my dog may end up being friends! My pooch is small and was scared to death of this great waddling beast, at first, but, now her curiosity is, "how in the world does that quacky thing get treats more often than I do?" Thanks to the KC, my dog ate a carrot last night (she used to hate carrots) out of sheer jealousy! LOL. My dog now sits outside the duck's area and they talk all day. When the duck is out, she and the dog take turns following each other around. SO CUTE!

I just bought generic "human" niacin at the supermarket, and mixed it in with the drinking water. 500mg per capsule, so that's enough for 5 gallons. The kind I used didn't dissolve all that well, so I'm pretty sure they got more on some days than others.

I'm dying to hear how much your duck likes peas!!!
