So I buy 5 chickens at 4 bucks a piece & spend time with them daily. Treating them to grubs & meal worms. Then a week ago a friend gives me a little runt chicken, by far the eldest of my group. She hasn't learned that my hands bring forth treats. So who is the friendliest? The new little runt, of course. She will fly out of the cage just to sit on my lap, snuggle & get petted. When ever I pick up the others they tolerate it but go back to the cage when they get the chance! The black one is the friendly little runt, I named her Zooey.
