hi i have a 4 month old saxony hen she quackes all the time seems hungry will eat worms snails and some veg and grass but wont touch duck feed... the drake is fine she has been like this for a few weeks. anyone any ideas whats wrong with her.

Is she quaking or quacking all the time? Is she acting normal otherwise? Walking, foraging, drinking, sleeping, pooing? Does she lay yet? Do you have any other ducks? If not, it's possible the drake is over mating her, which will cause stress, which can impact her eating. The recommended ratio is 3-4 females per drake.

I'll tag some other members that know a lot more than I do. They'll probably have more questions. It may also help if you post a picture of her.

Check the feed -it could be slightly moldy. Is she going broody? Broodies act kinda crazy.

hi she is quacking all the time,yes she is acting normal, she is not laying yet, i just have her and her mate the drake. she has always been feed layers pellets but put duck and geese feed down to see if maybe she has went off the layers pellets but no change.. i will post a picture up later today.... thanks
