Ok didn't know where else to post this. Was cracking eggs to cook the other day and there was a worm looking object in one of my eggs. I have not noticed any signs of parasitic infestation in my hens. I have six hens they are just over a year old and I stopped eating the eggs once this unidentified "thing" appeared. It was only seen in the one egg. I started tossing the eggs after this and I have been scouring the internet looking for what it could be so I can get to the bottom of this and treat them for the correct parasite if needed. Any advice would be extremely helpful. I also have a broody hen I cannot get to stop sitting on eggs. I know its a different topic but i need help with that one too Thanks yall!

Place your broody in a wire bottom cage with no bedding, raised up of the ground so air can flow under it, with only food and water for a few days.
Placing a frozen water bottom under the cage to help keep it cool will help too, not so the hen can actually sit on the water bottle though.
