I was pretty apprehensive about Goose (that's the duck's name) at first. The previous owner just said the duck has always lived with them. I'm not sure if it's male of female, I'll try to get a shot a post it along with the rest of the flock. Thanks for the advice, I'll keep an eye out. I may have to relocate him somewhere he will be happier.. You're going to want to be very careful about having a Drake around hens. If he breeds them they can be seriously hurt or killed.

Thanks! Everyone is very welcoming. I took your advice and posted some pictures. Here is the link in case you are interested in taking a guess: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...d-something-else-gender-also-a-bonus-questionHello and welcome to BYCWow, you only got thrown in at the deep end! Have a look round the site, the Learning Centre is packed with info, under Frequently Asked Questions we have links to informative threads and the sticky threads are very informative as well. If you post nice, clear pics of your chickens under the What Breed Or Gender is This? section we can tell you what breeds you have and how many roos/hens.![]()
Have fun and hope you get lots of eggs!
