yikes! that's a hard one.

I would have to say cochins (bantam and standard). They are so friendly and cute!

I also like brahma's, millie fluer d'uccles, serama's (don't have any, but really want to get some), brown leghorns, and WLR cornish.

What about you?

these are my first chickens so I don't know what my favorite breed is. I would like to get some australopes.

well, i bet you'll figure it out!

Australorps are a great bird. I have never had a mean or flighty one (even the rescue birds calmed down within days of arriving) and the are really pretty too. They also bear confinement better than a lot of breeds. They are one of the top birds i recommend to anyone wanting to get into chickens

they will arrive at the post office on thursday the 22. they shipped on the 20th. when i ordered my chix the company that i ordered them from was out of austrolorps

that will be so fun...totally post pics when them come! that stinks! you may be able to find someone local on craigslist or something that sells them.....
